£11 pays a whole lot of wages, but I can't see Sam taking the risk with guys that are carrying injuries. I can see PVA coming in for Townsend, Damo for Tomkins and MacArthur (first 60 mins) Flamini( last 30) for Cabaye.

Out of three who put their bodies on the line last week (could result in worse damage to their injuries which they may never recover from) it was clear Townsend from the start was really struggling.
When Cabaye did that "saving tackle" he really winched in pain, plus I could see the pain in tompkisn eyes in the 2nd half.
You cannot play any of those three at Clatenburgs favourite team, MUTD

Good idea Ken; it's generally more reliable than the speculation on here.

Takeaways from Big Sam's presser:

1. Tomkins is healthy and is in contention to start.

2. Both Cabaye and Townsend are injured and may not play.

3. Zaha will start.

4. Premier League not supporting clubs with European commitments.

5. Only way Speroni will play is if Hennessey is not fit.

Based on that I'm guessing the starting XI will be: Hennessey; Ward, Kelly, Tomkins, Schlupp, Puncheon, Milivojevic, Zaha, McArthur, PVA, Benteke. Subs: Speroni, Delaney, Townsend, Sako, Cabaye, Campbell, Kaikai.

In any country in the world Jose would be out on his arse and United would have a manager who wasn't a ranting bampot who blames everyone but himself for their not winning the league.

The man is as mad as a box of frogs.

Got to be this hasn't it? Schlupp playing extremely well and likes bombing forwards. Obvious replacement for Townsend with PVA chomping at the bit for LB.

McArthur not been great of late but needs game time and the obvious Cabaye replacement.

Maybe a couple of the kids on the bench?
