I think it's fair enough to predict that the club you follow will stay up. I see a lot of sensible answers and arguments such as Watford and their constantly changing managers and Huddersfield should they go up.

When we went up the first thought of us on these boards was, who can we finish above, all we need are 3 worse teams. Hardly delusional to believe that your team can stay up.

Having said that, there are plenty of knumptys that are suggesting they will finish well up the league and above us.

There is an excellent thread on there about Shane Long who they are rumoured to be interested in. I can't stand the bloke myself, which would make him perfect for them.

However, there is someone on NSC who thinks that he isn't good enough and what they need is strikers who can get close to 40 goals between them. That's Benteke and Lukaku to Brighton then!

You only have to look at Transfer Talk here to see that ridiculous suggestions aren't just the province of Brighton supporters as plenty of out own make them too

You're bang right and also comments that people have made about every club having a few rabid forum contributors with inflated or delusional expectations. But it's still funny to laugh at them (at least while we can!)

There's the difference - right there.

We were all thinking who CAN we finish above whereas those self-entitled melts are arrogant enough to ask who they WILL finish above.
