I'm proud of the fact that we will have those five boroughs on the shirt. I grew up in E dulwich (southwark) and then Forest Hill (Lewisham) both of which where (just about) walking distance of Crystal Palace Parade/Park area. I know the club is more associated with Croydon today and fair enough, but as a south Londoner, I am pleased by this celebration of the clubs roots.

I couldn't careless if they wrote Sussex on the shirts.

Boroughs are divided up amongst clubs in London that are nearest to them, certainly the borough they are based in. Somebody has got a bit carried away with the song ' south London is ours' and taken it literally. Somebody from the marketing club with a bit too much money to spend. You may as well put Kengsington and Chelsea on the the shirt because The original Crystal Palace stood in Hyde Park!
