A man after my own heart, I've been saying this for ages - all sky blue with a claret sash, bit of primrose trim here and there, maybe a thick claret band on the top of the socks, oooohh, suits you sir!

How old is 'older'? I'm 50 and have only ever known Red n Blue since '79 when I began following The Palace. For me Claret & Blue are perennialy linked to sh!t teams like Wet Sham, Villa & Burnley, so no, I wouldn't want to see us return to it even if it is our heritage. For me the Red n Blue is unique in England and I'm very happy to stick with it.

I think you misread and or misunderstood before spouting off about teams you hate. The suggestion was sky blue with a claret (aka red) sash which is what we used for THREE seasons in the early 1980's as our away strip when you claim to have been a supporter. It was a very popular shirt on the Holmesdale terraces even when we were at home. Maybe you like... forgot, or had too many chemicals!? As far as I know it's only been used by one other team in the World.
