Biggest step backwards for Palace in a long time if this happens. Would be so concerned for the club as a whole if he was brought in, all the long term plans would be for nothing playing championship football if he is brought in.

Another exciting pre-season .......

dyche is alright i suppose...we could do a lot worse than employ a honest hard working, working class man with a good track record at a unfashionable team.

hardly inspiring but should keep us up

wouldnt be upset with claudio...would surely be the biggest manager ever to manage palace.

A deliberately stupid reply to a stupid statement. Your comment was that Parish had seen us right every time before, not most times or invariably but every time

Why do you dislike Parish.?

Forget about Silva _ it's gone and maybe it's a good thing.
When a TV reporter asked Big Sam if he felt sorry for Silva during that last home game Sam said no he didn't because at the end of the day Paul Clement,Sean Dyche,Craig Shakespeare and himself had been good enough to keep their teams up - the others had failed and therefore weren't good enough - end of !

On top of that the very fact that he has picked Watford is a sign of a poor decision making!

Parish has seen us right every time before and I have faith in him now.

So you can't want Monk then. And Dyche has been relegated before so that's him out as well.

Watford fans didn't want him to leave, Burnley dont want him to leave.
For me Palaces's highest priority has to be to upgrade the stadium. To do that we need to stay in the Prem. Dyche in my mind, is the lowest risk of those talked about so far. I think Parish got his fingers burnt with Pardew and will not be looking to 'go to the next level' for a few years. The time to do this is when we have a new main stand.

You're probably right. Possibly for the best.

Just finding it difficult to accept us not showing enough or actually any interest in silva who with a decent squad and full summer and season would succeed with something more appealing.

Unfortunately he is being lined up for the new BagPuss movie playing Professor Yaffle. Sam is playing the lead role, content to sit on his rug and let the world pass him by. Tony Pulis is playing the banjo playing Toad, Gabriel who lives on top of the round tin on the shelf due to financial difficulties. Pards is Madeleine, the rag doll who sits on the shelf and never moves even when told to do so, telling tales and weaving stories. A few Palace fans have come forward to play the Mice propping up the Marvellous Magical Mouse Organ whilst the major characters strut around in their lofty perches. Of course this is all fiction just like this thread.

He's not actually leaving is he?

And even if he is I think he'd be able to cherry pick a better team than Palace.
