Seems a bit odd to have offered a 3year deal when much was said about a manager needing to stay and build for 5 years....!?

White smoke bellowing from the Sistine Chapel normally means a new Pope has been chosen. It looks like Palace have taken a leaf out of the Vatican's book, albeit from a takeaway. Former Ajax boss Frank de Boer is expected to be officially announced at 14:00 BST.
