Yeah, because I've made up sh*t before. I won't reveal source but Defoe was an issue. Not done and dusted with him going and at boardroom level it isn't cut and dry. Silva has been contacted but he'll go to Porto for champs league. This is typical palace by the way.

I'm not surprised Defoe would be an issue. To old for the money outlay. I agree with Parish if this is the case. Sam should just except it and move on to other more profitable targets not just up and leave over it. Edited by Flightsequence (23 May 2017 5.43pm)

I'd rather go for Lucien Favre at Nice. We could offer better money and Premier League, but Nice are in the CL next season so might be tough. He's also only been at Nice for 1 season, but he's done a really good job there as well as at Monchengladbach before. Jocelyn Gourvennec another manager from the French league who has done a good job and is young.

I was right about George Boyd medical at forest due to a source. Warnock I got right due to being given a heads up there. I was told about the Asian trophy weeks ago but was sworn to secrecy. I've always been open and honest. Sometimes my sources are wrong. But I won't stop posting because people get their knickers in a twist.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'New manager suggestions' by Guntrisoft IF Huddersfield were to lose the playoff final. I genuinely cannot think of a better replacement than David Wagner. Has done wonders on next to no budget and learned his trade under Jurgen Klopp. Marco Silva just doesn't seem like the right fit to be brutally honest, beside the fact he failed to keep Hull up (granted that would have been a miracle with that squad). If Huddersfield win however I can't see him leaving. His stock will skyrocket and they will have no choice but to give him whatever he wants. Thoughts?
