There are quite a few out of work.
Which one would you want of the following ? :

McClaren, Di Matteo, Ranieri, Pearson, Pearce, Moyes, Mancini, Hodgson, Hiddink, Clarke, Adkins, McLeish, Hoddle, Van Gaal, Zola, Silva etc etc.

Let's hope it is Weeds fans having a laugh. At least Dyche and Silva have managed this season in the Prem. My money is on one of them, which one who knows, maybe not even Parish knows yet. As others have said he will get his man and has done very well in the past.

He's done "very well" when we've needed rescuing; it's what happens in between that bears less close scrutiny.

I'm afraid I disagree.
I believe that our suporters would be less best pleased if Monk was appointed.
Personally I would be very disappointed but what the hell do I know ?

Fair enough but Swansea finished 8th under Monk and he plays good football.

If we are going to go English Would rather Monk than Dyche as personally i feel Monk is the better manager.

I'd recommend the book 'Living on the Volcano' to anyone who'd like more insight into both Monk and Dyche.

But the Pardew-like decline the following season and the failure to get Leeds to the playoffs, having been contenders for automatic promotion, are major causes for concern.

From what I gather (Couple of days ago), the criteria is not that the man MUST be English/British.

I watched Swansea's last games under Monk and they were the worst side I've seen for a long time. But then I read last night from that Swans fan he sided, or kept silent, over a director having an affair with a player's wife.

Silva leaves Hull after relegation but in survival form for almost the whole time he's there until Sunderland at home and then several injuries straight after.

Monk gets sacked from Swansea in dire form but with extenuating circumstances.

Dyche has proved his premiership survival capabilities, but no foreign contacts and no experience of big name players and egos.

Looking at BBC gossip and NewsNow:

Leeds: Ranieri
Middlesborough: Monk or Pearson
Watford: Silva
Porto: not Silva
Burnley: keeping Dyche
Sunderland: McInnes
Hull: pi**ing about
Palace: Dyche or maybe Mazzari

Mancini: Zenit St Pyeterburg

Can't find anything except bookies linking us to Monk, thank God.

I wouldn't. Think Dyche has performed miracles at Burnley on one of the smallest budgets in the League. Frankly can't see him leaving Burnley for us but I would not be against it.

Would prefer Monk over Dyche.just saying.

Leeds want Raniere as their manager.but I don't think he would want a championship club at his age.

I will be astonished if his not on our shortlist.
