When you see Diane Abbot, you just laugh, but people who maybe think about voting labour, think, no f**king way - I'm not doing anything that helps that crazy bitch. She's just the right wing equivillant of the shrill shouting student right on for whom everything is some kind of 'ist or phobic. Same rules apply. The real reason that Farage did so much for UKIP is that he sounded and expressed himself reasonably well most of the time. Same with Griffin and the BNP, he could step outside of appearing as the stereotype that people hold, and appeal. Hopkins is preaching to the 'converted/perverted'.
