No tikki-takka football manager, please. Playing with little possession, hard-working midfield/defence and flying wingers finishing most attacks early-early. Dyche (gosh I don't like his personality) as a Palace manager will be my choice if Steve P. & Co decides he is to be our next boss in the dugout.

Not sure about Dyche, but if he brings Heaton and Keane with him I could be persuaded!!

I am totally lost as to who should be the next manager, but a grasp of the English language would be a plus...

Dyche would be a good appointment. My opinion is that he is a Palace type manager, has teams well organised and disaplined. Was doing a good job at Watford before being replaced by Zola and has since worked miracles at Burnley.

Does that rule Dyche in or out?

Hmmm...this appt would break Burnley hearts and paints a picture of a very mercenary, cut throat attitude of managers where the talk of devotion to one's club is nothing but hollow. There MUST be great managers out there without a post who can come in and manage Palace.

This time round there's no real stand out candidate. Parish has proved his desire to appoint a British coach. Whilst I don't think dyche will be an exciting appointment. It makes a lot of sense. He builds from the back. His side kept 10 clean sheets in the prem last season. His football suits our style. Only concern is his poor away form.

He won the premiership last season. He plays that counter attacking style that would suit the likes of Wilf and Townsend. Whilst I think if we appointed ranieri, it would be a risk. Was he unfairly treated at Leicester or is he another pardew blows hot and cold.

Is ranieri worth a interview?

His "desire" should be to appoint the best possible coach, irrespective of nationality; xenophobia has no place in the recruitment process. I hope that we're not going to spend weeks trying to prise Dyche from Burnley, quite possibly unsuccessfully, when there are other experienced managers who could be in post in a matter of days.

Personally Dyche to Palace is not that exciting.

His not a bad manager but i'm looking for us to go for a top ten finish next season not a relegation scrap under Dyche.

Just my opinion.

There are quite a few out of work.
Which one would you want of the following ? :

McClaren, Di Matteo, Ranieri, Pearson, Pearce, Moyes, Mancini, Hodgson, Hiddink, Clarke, Adkins, McLeish, Hoddle, Van Gaal, Zola, Silva etc etc.
