Yes, such a brave lad, RIP Bradley. All so very sad but truly inspiring.

And all credit to Jermain Defoe.

Children with terminal illness.
Life is unfairness.

I try not to think about it, it breaks you up.

So very sad to read of his passing - at least he is no longer in pain and discomfort and is hopefully in an altogether better place. One feels so much for his loving family as well:

RIP Bradley. You were an inspiration and such a brave little boy. At peace now and no more pain. Respect to Jermaine Defoe who Bradley so idolised.

Not so as the media attention has raised awareness of this condition and the various charitable actions have raised over £700,000 for the Bradley Lowery Trust which must be of benefit to all others suffering from this illness.

Let's not forget the difference Ian Botham's fund raising on behalf of leukaemia made to funding research into treatment of this horrible disease

Although expected it is still terrible news. God bless Bradley & his family. We are all poorer for his loss. Perhaps a minutes applause on 6:00 during the opener would be appropriate as well as a minutes silence before the match.

Watched Jermaine Defoe's interview on Sky when he broke down when talking about Bradley. Defoe is in touch with the family every day and whilst many footballers are given stick Defoe has to be saluted for the effort he has made with the family. Getting attached to a terminally ill child shows the mark of a man. Little lad is still fighting lets hope he is not in any pain.

Unfortunately no longer but what fight he gave it. Agree with the above but would like to add Victor Mannonne to this, as he visited the little guy on numerous occasions. This really does put life into perspective, being a dad of 2 lovely healthy kids.
RIP Little guy, you are in pain no longer.

While we all knew this day would come, it is still terribly sad to know that it has arrived.

Bradley's plight transcended the world of football and touched millions whether they followed the game or not. He loved life, and fought courageously for his survival right to the very end. I'm sure all of our hearts go out to his close friends and family at this time, particularly his parents whose pain and sense of loss must be unimaginable.

We will certainly never forget Bradley Lowery.

A tough as nails kid who led an extraordinarily positive life despite the challenges he faced. A lesson to us all. Hats off to Defoe too.
