I certainly agree that the left have nothing useful to say on this matter and indeed their failure philosophy (multiculturalism) has played its role in the problem. I'm tired of the idiots singing 'imagine' too, well intentioned though it is. When people actually start listening to Islamic reformers and focus properly on extremists instead of worrying about human rights lawyers something might happen. Until then....we have the madness, rinse and repeat. But of course, this is all independent of what's happening now because we don't really know what's gone on....regardless of how obvious it is.
