You would expect children and older people to cost the most because of the care required.

The NHS over pays for everything I was talking with a doctor and few nurses about this it really annoys them that even something like toilet paper it's cheaper to go to tesco and buy it then what nhs pays yet they can't do that the same with other supplys.

I do not know how people can depend drinkers/smokers claiming they pay more in so on again go and look at what it costs to treat them it's way more then they ever pay in plus the medical problems they have drag on for a long time so a lot of those stats which are about older people i bet is because they are drinker/smokers

Compared with the massive promises made to pensioner in recent elections it is refreshing to see the youth get involved.

Yes they do the ones i mentioned run the department and its the same with gp they know a lot more about money then you think a lot of them have meetings about it minimum once a month.

they get no discount on big bulk in fact they do not even order in big bulks most of the time.

the private sector is not that great I can tell you do not really know much about how health care works.

have you even ever had private treatment? they use nhs resources

look up drug costs the nhs pays well over the odds this is why a lot of medications are not available due to cost it's the same when you get treated every one has a limit if you need to go through a bunch of drugs in a year you wont always be given the best one but a cheaper alternative.

The clinic i am haing my chemo treatment they had run out of coffee and milk the coffee ran out over 3 weeks ago and the milk week ago which they can not order any more until July due to budget staff are not allowed to just buy then bring them in for patients.

Another patient in when i was having chemo was told he had to have senior sign of on letting him have some drugs because he had hit his limit which basiclly each person has yearly limit on medications senior wouldn't sign off on it so he had to go with cheaper option (i asked staff about this they said it's very common because of the inflated prices nhs pays they have to deal with this all the time)

if you do research you will see the nhs pays 3-4 times if not more then say india or africa for the same treatment
