Mentioning muslims after Manchester and London - how dare you politicise a tragedy, you RACISTS!

Tower block goes up in flames - it's the f*cking TORIES!

Crazy, f*cked up world.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Perhaps ISIS will claim responsibility, or perhaps it is one them false-flag thingies, or MI5 or Israeli plot?

I wouldn't say it was propaganda, I'd say it's holding people to account. If Barwell sat on documents pertaining to health and safety in tower blocks for however many years, then he is accountable. Although until we know the official version of how the fire started, could it have been prevented if the housing minister did his f***ing job.

There's thousands of tower block residents all over the country s***ting themselves tonight I'd imagine.

Unfortunately, some of the undemocratic on here don't want those in charge of housing and the government to be accountable

I wouldnt say I've seen anyone say that Nick...just suggesting that we wait until the cause of the fire has been established.

Then (and only then) in my eyes are the political debates justified...but then the 'rabid' politicals on here simply cant wait until the FACTS are there to make a reasoned debate on...they simply revert back to mud slinging based on their own pseudo agendas regardless.

It's pitiful, shameful and boring.

Should it be the case that ANYONE sitting on reports is identified as a causal factor then I for one will be at the front of the Queue to demand an explanation as to why that was the case.

But then I guess reasoned thinking has long gone out of the window on here...its got extremely tiresome and boringly predictable

You do realise that the Wilson government was responsible for some of the worst high rises ever built?

I had also considered that, but I'm not one that would simply sling that accusation around for the sake of it...I'll leave that to the others on here to do.

It would only be relevant to the structure of the building and the building regs at that time...clearly we've all moved on since then and we could go back infinitum to find a point in history to lay blame at someones door.

But it doesnt make things better...it simply shows how shallow in thought some are, that they'd use a disaster to push their own agenda. Worse still allow themselves to be used by others agendas by simply dropping their click bait on here.

It's a bit unfair at this stage to finger point with any certainty.

What we do know is that what happened is beyond words and consequences will happen.

I doubt that the colour of who is in government makes much difference to this but time will reveal all.

I think organised crime when I see things like this. People who use corruption and low bids to win contracts, use questionable materials to maximise profit margins, cut safety, circumvent regulations, pay off inspectors etc.

No amount of politics can really stop that.

Whatever has to change has to be done...I was traumatized just watching it and I don't consider myself a lip trembler....there would have been loads of kids in there.
