Johnson is the only Tory with a chance of winning a majority from the options I can see. The rest have a charisma problem. When it comes to the unpolitical and those in the middle that is an absolutely vital characteristic. Some Tories are going to have to hold their noses. The 'progressive' left would hate any option.....Besides the Tories don't need to win traditional lefty seats....All they have to do is win seats that they should be winning anyway. If the Tories don't choose him when the time comes I really think they would show that they don't learn their lessons very well.

She's a tory PM so Europe will be downfall. My theory is that they cannot cope with anything out of their power, you can trample all over the UK but not elsewhere. Nasty lady don't feel sorry for her.

If it just takes charisma to run a country effectively then they could always put famous Tory Frank Bruno up for the next by-election and fast track him to the leadership.

Plus he is a t*** and a bully that isn't much liked by anybody in Westminster!

Kenneth Clarke labelled her "Bloody awkward" when he thought he was off-air, he never said she was "Nasty" in any shape or form.

If I had to bet I'd go with another election and Johnson with a small majority or Corybn leading a collation. He also wisely and astutely referred to two calamitous, needless errors of judgment from both Cameron (Referendum) and May (calling of Snap General Election) as both attempted to focus upon personal & party political agendas rather than putting national interests first. On a separate note, I really struggle to think of a Conservative MP with the gravitas required to replace that of May....

She would make the perfect librarian if you ask me, pleasant enough, hearts probably in the right place but absolutely clueless to be a pm and by not debating against the other leaders really says it all! Needs proper advisers and i cant see that any exist in the conservative party at the moment or we wouldnt go from one calamity to the next, but thats not her fault, the blind leading the blind im afraid!

How you can talk about popularity with their own party as being important when your leader is Corbyn is quite something really.

It wasn't a "Debate" - it was a slanging match between the party representatives ! As for "Advisers", two of her top advisers, Timothy and Hill have resigned and of course there are matters to reflect on in terms of the manifesto and campaign both of which were abject.Lessons to be learned and they will be.
