Absolutely, I was so chilled that when I saw a Brighton FC flag I went over and congratulated them on promotion and said I was looking forward to our games with them. You Palace was the reply for which a yes from me ended the conversation - they didn't seem to want to chat. I'm thinking they are dreading playing us?

That's not chilled. If you were chilled you would have wiped your bum on their flag and then said 'thank you'. What you did is have a moment of insanity.

Agree with Black Eagle, Chic with superb musicians were great. The worst I saw was The National, who were out of tune/can't hold a tune or had serious tuning problems/ monitors not working- maybe it was a disastrous mix of all of the above.

I see Comrade Corbyn was headlining on a few stages, anyone know what he sang in his sets?

Sieg Heil Kanker Zwarten by the Kale Vandalen?

Maybe MC Nige F has that lined up for his slot next year.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Not sure, I heard John McDonnell was boring everyone in the 'debating area' (who on earth goes there?) by calling people murderers for the Grenfell tragedy.

Diane Abbot openly thanked all the 10,000 people that came

Lovely people by all accounts

Got back last night and still buzzing.

Best of the fest for me
Cut Capers in Avalon Café - most fun
Lorde on Other - biggest surprise, simply stunning
The Pretenders on Other - biggest hero
Foo Fighters on Pyramid - headlining how it should be done
New York Brass Band in the Bread & Roses - bonkers after Foos party

Didn't go to the Killers due to the crush and went to Barry Gibb & Chic on Pyramid instead. Disco faves.

t*** of the fest goes to Liam Gallagher, thought he would play all the hits but didn't. His stuff is dull, the crowd was huge but bored, everyone around us were having a chat instead. Same with James last year. Chrissie Hynde showed them how to play Glasto, back to back hits with style.

Toilets were the best they've been.
Less drugs this year due to the bag searching, so less f*cked up t***s
More beer choices - Otter & Cheddar Ales.

Parrot

Rich socialist farmer coins in a fortune every year. fair f***s to him. No Elvis, Beatles or the Rolling Stones.

Socialism doesn't preclude earning a living, nor should it. Nor should it glorify being poor or that we should all be poor.

The point of socialism is to raise the standard of living for others, as well as yourself, arguably at the expense of those who already have 'too much'.

Frankly, I think the super rich would let the rest of us starve to death if they didn't need someone to buy their s*** and run around after them.

Acknowledging this does not mean that we should try and smash the system, just adjust it a bit in our favour.
After all, we need their greed to make the world go round and most rabid socialists would swap places with them in a heart beat.

They would. And then they would re-distribute the wealth so it benefits the many and not just the very few.

Why do average Prem footballers need £5mill a year? Imagine if they were earning a very healthy £3mill x 50 players instead. That's saved £100mill right there toward things more needed via higher tax. Could build affordable 1,000 eco-houses with that for struggling working families.

That's a nice idea.

Sadly the 'socialist' party wants to borrow more money so all our children are saddled with more debt just for a perceived short term gain.
Meanwhile, the filthy rich buy another yacht.
