I'm not too impressed with them, i feel like they are the kind of sponsor you find on a league 1 team, no disrespect to either party - i would have just preferred a well known brand, but then i guess that defeats the purpose - but i just don't wanna walk about showing off manbetx

He was pointing out that it couldn't be £2m p.a., as originally reported (and wouldn't have been eighth highest in the PL), because it was £5m the year before. It is now being reported as £7m p.a.

I think it would help our new sponsors, who are throwing cash at us, if Steve Parish explained who they are and why their business seems so incomplete. It would also help the club itself.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

That would be helpful because, as it stands, they're a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

Wouldn't it be great if for once we stopped chasing the money and had a wonderful charity logo on the shirts for a season and we didn't charge them. Great Ormond Street or similar.

The club don't appear to to be giving much back financially to the community or anywhere else worthy.

You want us to build an academy and not throw all our money away and then you want to turn down £6 mil? Gordon Brown would be proud.

In the last accounts available (2015/16) we made a post-tax loss. Let's leave the altruistic gestures to those who can afford it, for the time being, shall we?

Aston Villa did it in 2008/9 sponsoring Acorns Children's Hospice.
For free.

In the previous financial year (2007/08) Villa made a £7.6m loss suggesting that this was a gesture, however well-intentioned, that they could not afford. The following season they made a £2.7m loss. I would be concerned if we lost over £10m in two seasons.

We must have wasted well over £35,000,000 on bad buys since we got promotion and we will waste tens of millions of more in the future. £6mill seems like peanuts and for what could be worth a lot more for the charity over the year.
