Latest on this in the Dutch press is that Fenerbahce is not letting him go. It would also make a mockery of the story we could not afford him as there is no way on earth Feyenoord as the mere No 1 of Holland can Match the wages payed at the no 14 of the PL . Mind you, he may realize his legs are going swiftly and not consider the PL or he may have family reasons for preferring Holland.

Agree. Obviously wouldn't be as sharp in his former years but still a very useful impact player. Think he wouldn't come for that reason tho, as would expect to have gameplay.
