Anyone would be prone to sickies if they were kicked to bits like Tomkins was by the bin dippers whom, with his help and without Sakho, we turned over. We were then poor until he came back.

I'm hoping we manage to snag a bargain but Klipperty Klopp's pushing it with a price of 30 Mill, had he stayed on the bench or worse at the Pool they'd have snatched our hand off at 20 or less. More than likely made far worse having Benteke nail them when we met them last season. Red & Blue since 73'

If you remember Tomkins came with a sick note in his pocket when he arrived from West Ham and he was not even a first team regular there!, that is not saying he is not good, he is, but as I said
he is prone to sickies and therefore prone to long absences which makes us very vulnerable, we need investment in our defence in order to progress and consolidate our position in PL where the money tree is and stop this continue flirting with relegation!
