I think he's gonna turn out to be a class act for the club. He can see we need better players in some areas but also wants to bring youth through where possible. Get the back rock solid and he'll have more freedom promoting youth. When he was first announced I said it would transform our academy a we'd become a beacon for other players as they'd see Palace as a place where you can break through. Can't remember who and don't really care, but someone tried to explain it'd be ten years before our academy produces anyone. I'll be surprised if it's more than 10 weeks before an academy player gets some minutes in a league game.

Looking at the last Netherlands u21 squad both fosu Mensah and Riedewald feature. I wonder if we be interested in anymore from this list.
