RVP seems like Groundhog Day after the likes of Adebayor and Remy. Citeh supposedly want a buy back clause for Iheanacho. My 2 possible strikers were Abraham and Defoe who have both been snapped up.

Swansea of course linked with Abraham but I haven't heard he has actually signed for them.

Why do fenerbache want rid every window. The bloke looking for a last pay day. This is where the problem lies. We only need one striker as if we need have an injury crisis it would be for our younger striker to step up. Especially if we continue with a 1 striker formation.

I'd argue we do need 2 strikers given Wickham's fitness record and Campbell's departure (has this happened yet?) but both Iheanacho and RVP is wishful thinking and we should probably distribute the spending around other areas of the team. I still maintain RVP would be a good signing but can see why others disagree.

Do we have a good young striker? Kai Kai might have potential but is completely untested at premiership level and relying on such a young player would be risky. I'd like to see him smashing it on loan at a championship or top league 1 team next season rather than occasionally sitting on our bench.

Not heard he has signed for anyone.

In terms of Iheanacho, if Man C want £20 Mill I cannot see us paying this money.Besides the player might not wish to come to us anyway.

We have only one fit, ready to go, PL striker right now. If Benteke gets injured, wer'e stuffed. We need to access 2 strikers from somewhere. Van Persie has vast PL experience, and is a natural striker. Could he give 90 mins every week at his age? No way. Could,he be a useful impact sub? Probably. Is he worth a punt, at his price point? I think so.

If the price and wages are low, then yea ( can't see Van Persie playing for a few quid a week )
I'm not into these past good players, jumping on to their last paycheck in the Prem.
We've been through it with Edgar Davids,Ade Adeboy and a few others recently. Its more of a stop gap, not the way forward in my mind.

Iheanacho? Just saw his youtubes. For $25m not impressed. DeBrun and Man City backing him with killer passes too. Shoots wide shoots over shoots rebounds. Glen Murray hanging around in the box with Man City blitzing would get as many goals. Rather buy the 19-year-old Ajax striker for less than half that price.

I'm starting to warm to this. There is hardly any decent strikers around at decent price and he would only be back up. Could save us cash to strengthen other areas!

Sorry not sure what your on?

I asked to see the YouTube video link showing Iheanacho to be s*** you said you watched.

Simple request no need to dig me out.

Either you have the link or you don't?

Another link and note the player on 25 seconds hitting it wide isn't Iheanacho, he had just played the pass to create the chance...

You really do not think you could go and steal Dolberg for 12.5 m do you? Apart from the fact he would very likely not be interested.
