Seem to have got a flying start in the transfer window. Defoe, Begovic and now Nathan Ake. Would have welcomed any of those three.

If its true a three year deal for Defoe is good for Defoe not many players of his age would get that.

Well I do.

I think that all clubs that flaunt the FFP rules should have to refer all future incoming transfers to the governing body who would refuse to register the player unless the club could prove that they were keeping within the FFP guidelines

I agree. If the penalties are less than the benefits of breaching FFP rules, then the penalties need to be more severe.

We have Parish curtailing our transfer activities so that we don't breach FFP, but it's OK for Bournemouth to do so for some reason.

Plucky little Bournemouth, the FFP bandits.

Don't you just love the media darlings. Especially that Howe with his instructing his team to take turns to kick the s*** out of flair players until they snap and get booked while avoiding cards themselves.

FFP rules need to be reviewed, small clubs should be allowed to be aspirational, the premiership should not be a closed shop, the bigger the gaps are the worse for football all round

Spot on , it favours the big clubs who can spend as much as they like really , and pay the fine if they do breach the rules. It is a pointless rule unless
