I just don't fancy him - I am sure there are better strikers around for what he will cost. He is not exactly prolific either - definitely one to miss in my view.

So would I, anytime! The problem is his price tag. Ajax wanted him but opted out and AZ did some very clever trading to get their share of the TV pond. Not sure he would fit in a team with Benteke though and one thing Spurs certainly is not going to be wanting is him being a benchwarmer with us.

I have only seen him in the one season in the top division here and certainly was a center forward then with AZ.
I googled , found out his mum was a top swimmer never knew that . Don't think he has played a winger and think on the wing he would be wasted in combination with Benteke. Our wingers should aim to use Benteke's strength. A false centre forward playing on the wing is not something I would see as a proper option.
He has held a regular place in the Dutch national team even when on the bench at Spurs, though of course we are in a bit of a state so that not necessarily means a lot.
