Maybe they've spent their budget and now need to reign in their spending? Not quite sure how much they've spent these last couple of seasons but I have a feeling its more than we have...plus they're looking to divert money to a new ground.

Still suggests they've seen better value elsewhere. But as he's evidently up for £9m, it's a potential bargain.

Not against him, but he's unreliable. A loan move could work, but I'd hope we can get a fee agreed before the signing this time

Palace interested in loaning jack wilshere.

[Link]

That would mean Chambers would need to be a permanent deal.

Good point. Would rather have Chambers for defensive cover, unless we are successful with buying Martins Indi as a good CB addition

If we were to sign Wilshere either permanently or on loan who would he replace in the team?

I presume that Luka's place is safe and Loftus Cheek has been signed to play so if we were to take him it would be to replace Cabaye which I don't see happening

Puncheon. Loftus cheek won't be a regular starter, he'll get games but if wilshere signs on loan, he would start.

Not worth even a punt. Injury prone and hardly set the league on fire while out on loan at Bournemouth.

We have signed too many passengers in recent years as opposed to players who present genuine competition for places.

I've always had a soft spot for Wiltshire, I thought he'd develop into a great player and be an England regular. Unfortunately due to how prone he is to injuries I have to agree with you... I do think he'd be a good addition to the squad though.

Apparently in an interview this morning previewing the tournent he has moved quick to dismiss the Wiltshire rumour but was less dismissive about Callum chambers in other words Wiltshire no chambers maybe/yes

Have to agree with this and I felt the same way in respect of Joniesta who was such a great prospect for Palace and Wales until he became so injury prone. We didn't call him that for nothing and maybe the Chairman had that in mind when giving him a new contract. If he can regain full fitness and then keep relatively injury free, I feel that he may well fit into FdB's style of play.

Who is he? FdB ?

My gut says there's nothing in the Wiltshire story.

Watford payed 8 million for will Hughes, I think on his day, Wilshire is twice the player. Buy him and save the loan place for Sakho. Use wilshire and cabaye sparingly around a solid base of Luka and Loftis-Cheek.

has resisted writing a single post on the Ross McCormack thread !!!

What about captain puncheon. I agree 9m is nothing in this market buy wilshere, yes he has injury problems but do a deal according to games played determining his salary.
