Sakho, Dann, Reidewalkd, Tomkins, Kelly...Even without including DD (think he's about done), still think that's too many decent CBs for 4 at the back...3 at the back I'd probably go Sakho, Dann, Reidewald.

I can't see this deal happening.....Liverpool will wait till January and a struggling Premiership side will cough up then. So wait till January.

Sakho may like it here but he also wants to play football and perhaps get back into the national side. One likely option for him is Southampton if they sell Van Dyke to Liverpool and I can't see him turning down that opportunity if it comes along

£1.9M per Premier League place makes the extra £ for Sakho over Chambers a fairly difficult choice. For certain we would have finished higher up the table last season & by enough places to have made the deal worthwhile.I would prefer the certainty that Sakho would bring to the team over the potential at this point in time. The club cannot really afford to be dragged into another relegation battle & our home form really does need improving.

But he's wanted by Palace and Sakho wants to join us and Liverpool know this and are acting accordingly. The BBC site quotes Liverpool today saying Sakho is £30 million and no loan. Will they hold out until the bitter end?? Who knows?
