It's extremely unlikely that we'd sell Benteke after spending the best part of all summer. Trying to convince him to come. 15+ goal striker are hard to find ask West Ham and stoke and many other mid table teams. That full stop after the word summer, killed me. I like Benteke, and I felt sorry for him when loads of Palace fans criticised him for lack of effort, when clearly we were not playing to his strengths. I fear the same is going to happen this season with the way we play. Selling Benteke to bring in one or two top quality players to suit FDB's system would be an option. As in the title of the thread.

Selling your only fit striker and top scorer isn't a very prudent move to avoid relegation. I cannot believe anyone would suggest such a move, then think we can bring in cheaper players to replace him. Strikers are at a premium, as there aren't many that are any good at this level, every team is searching for them.

Why would we weaken our squad to then replace with 2 more risks. One thing you can guarantee with Benteke is he will score at this level.
