The first half of that 2nd link is like a lesson of How not to defend in the PL - I don't think he stayed on his feet for the first 5mins. Saying that, all defenders need that in their armory. - The 2nd half of the link was a vast improvement! This could be a go-er - but I'd doubt we'd be his first choice. If one of the top 6 come in for him, I'd reckon he'd go there. he'd easily get into the ManU or Arsenal team.... Edited by CrazyBadger (04 Jul 2017 1.45pm)

I todays mad world of football any "Carlos Kickaball" is going for 30 mil+. If there is interest from any other big club then the price is likely to me more. This ain't gonna happen.

I would love to sign someone like sanchez but the reality is we only being linked because of de Boer Ajax background. If we not gonna risk 30m on Sakho , despite this guy potential, it a massive risk to spend 20m on a defender that only played one season in Europe.

I agree with this, if we can't do a deal with Liverpool for Sakho then I doubt we're in for this guy at over 20m. Although the Chelsea / Barca links do make him sound decent but I just can't see us spunking £20m of a tight budget on one defender. But maybe that'll be the cog that gets the team working for 30% less than Sakho and FdB knows his stuff.
