Here's an article in The Guardian, in which fans from each team from the 25 years of the Premier League give their best and worst moments. [Link]

The Palace representative gave the 3-3 "Crystanbul" game as the best moment, with the worst being relegation at the hands of the Clowns. In the words of Det. Somerset, I agree with the second part.

I think any of the results that confirmed Premier League survival would be a better "best" moment. For me, though, the run ahead of that Liverpool game, which saw 5 wins on the bounce, including the 3-0 win at Cardiff that was the game in which we achieve mathematical safety (I think), was better than the draw against Liverpool.

My choice would be the 1-0 over Chelsea (which is the only game I've attended in over 20+ years in "exile"). Ignoring my attendance, it was the spark for that run of 5 wins that meant we avoided relegation for the first time ever in the Premiership; it was beating Chelsea before it was a common thing (they fell 4 points short of the title); and it was on the back of a John Terry own goal. Joy upon joy upon joy.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Best moments.

"And cleared again by Tiler. David Hopkin. Looking to curl one..."

Which I think has gone down as the Palace equivalent of "They think it's all over... It is now!"

We weren't in the Premier League though.

Best moment beating Southampton to go 6th in the league (felt like we belonged and weren't just hanging on).

Worst moment, getting relegated on the last day of the season having been 8 points clear with three games left.

You've gotta have faith and be an optimist - the best moment is yet to come when we relegate Brighton on 14th April and then confirm our Europa League place.

As Martin Luther King said:- "I have a dream..."

I'd agree with Crystanbul. Can't remember feeling such frenzied joy in the PL. (Although of course there have been plenty of other fantastic moments)

Putting Arsenal to the sword last season takes some beating.

The sheer despair after Higginbotham's injury time leveller for Southampton in the relegation season also takes some beating.....

Christian Benteke's chip at Stamford Bridge brought on what you could call a frenzied reaction. That was a brilliant day out.

Not wanting to dampen the memory, but we beat Chelsea at the Bridge the year before (or the year before that - can't quite remember which), so this wasn't such a novel result.

That game also gave us this fantastic moment: [Link]

Easily the 1-0 win against Chelsea. The biggest turnaround moment.
We were down.

Lowest was relegations in 1993 & 1995. Think the latter we finished 4th bottom on 49 Pts (I think) and had the all the s*** with the plastics from just outside Manchester thrown in.
