The main point about this thread is that someone is being vilified merely because he disapproves of the termination of unborn human beings. There may well be circumstance in which abortion is justified, but these days it is treated with less regret than having a tooth out.

It's just some of his religious views are a bit medieval and have no overall support in general society nor in the upper echelons of Government should he be wishing to further his career there.

Sadiq Khan is a political chancer and will vote as he believes is best for his career, as opposed to sticking to any ideological dogma. That is how a number of politicians operate and I am not singling him out for criticism for doing that.
