No problem. All we have to do is find out how they picked them, have a HOL whipround, do the same ourselves, but not tell the bookie we combined the cash, and we could all get season tickets for next season

Does it mean that if you have an overdraft at the bank, then use it to place a bet, they don't have to pay out because you were using someone else's money ?

Yes. The credit card companies now treat deposits to gambling sites as cash withdrawals and make the necessary charges. They didn't used to. I used to do a bit of arbing and had some truly staggering balances on credit cards. Didn't take long for the bookies to start limiting my bets though to make it pointless. Then i started using other people to place my bets until eventually i ran out of friends prepared to help. Good, free money while it lasted though.

if this is a story of a woman rightly winning a legitimate bet then they should pay up but if it's a sophisticated gambling syndicate then they tried to beat the system and failed and I don't think they can be too upset of being found out. They would have known that there was a small risk in being found out to be a syndicate.

They would have stake restricted you for arbing without the use of a credit card. If you always take close matches or price boosts they limit you pretty quickly. I have lost my Ladbrokes account for doing the same and it wasn't at high stakes either .

Just to add you could still do it on the exchanges but back and lay on the same one. Ok you take the risk the price doesn't drop but that's the only way . Won't get a ban on there . I use smarkets as the commission is lower than betfair

Bookies never used to take credit cards as gambling debts couldnt be inforced by law. ot sure what the law on this is now though.
