Pazza always leaves the signings until the end of August so nothing new except waiting so late to name a manager has put his drawn out negotiations on a shorter deadline. I must admit only having a full squad for 36/35 fixtures every season is to me wasting points.

If you consider that we want to recruit say 5 players who get on average £60K a week, the difference between 1st June and the 10th August is £3m.
