Your attention span.
The main reason we struggled last season was a poor Manager.
Alan Pardew.
Who was sacked.
If Sam had stayed we would be fine, unfortunately he left and we now support Frank.

Imagine even the thought a few years back of signing the calibre of players we have. It's ridiculous that the loudest gobsh*tes are those who have probably never heard of Andy Dorman & Shefki Kuqi.

What about the wonderfully gifted Wayne Andrews, the last time we was in the premiership? Signed for £100,000 from Colchester utd.

Brought him in because apparently he could run fast, didn't matter about talent in those day's.

£100,000 wouldn't buy you a ball boy nowadays.

Kuqi 2006-2009.
I saw Shefki's debut at Luton.
Embarrassing,Peter Taylor said he would be fine when he gets fit in a month.!!
Posters on here liked him.!!!

I missed Wayne's only goal he scored in the first minute and I was late getting in.

The answer is YES.

There's NOOOOOOOOOOO sense of urgency from SP and I think that's what irritates me. Everything is just fine when we know it isn't. Barely escaped relegation last year to are 5th PL year. Oh how short our attention spans are could easily have been relegated last year. Because we DIDN'T do enough in the Summer Transfer Window. Fast forward to this Summer and we haven't learned a G*DD*MN thing.

Fair post. The t***s on here rubbishing your reasonable post are the type of cultish followers I detest. I think this season we'll be okay though. But, in your defence, let's get real shall we? Last season we should have gone down. What? Beating Chelsea, Arse and Liverpool to scrape home? We should have gone down. We were a shambles and it was plain to see MONTHS before Parish finally pulled the pin on super Al. What if Allardyce DIDN'T get sacked from England job and WASN'T available? Who the f@ck would have saved us? And even he suspected that he didn't have enough time. It was a miracle. Parish left BS with too little time by dragging his feet. Some would say that's not true because he did save us - but I say IT WAS A MIRACLE. Your's was a fair post (I'm okay with Parish now though because I think he's learned), but it was a fair post and didn't deserve the PARIs***ES rubbishing it.

Flamini in hindsight was an error.
Souare "Car Crash" was a serious injury.Pardews Fault.!!!!!
Losing three Centre Backs is a rarity.

Of course the idea is to get two good players for every position.
It takes time.
Steady improvement is needed on and off the pitch.

Which is actually happening, but still the Holers moan.

We were 1 midfielder down seeing as Jedi actually played and Flamini didn't, apart from about 150 mins. Weren't we vulnerable in that area in the 2nd half of the previous season or is that erased to help defend the indefensible?

Souare could've had an injury like MacArthur, Bolasie at us or Everton, Sakho etc etc etc. Any bl33ding player can. You don't go into the season with only 1 left sided defender and only 6 in total. Again, indefensible, and if you're going to defend it, try not to ignore what I've said.

Parish backed Pardew then sacked him when he felt the time was correct. So it was Pardews fault he did not sort out your midfielder issue.
As I said the idea is to get 2 players for each position, but it takes time.
The club in January backed Sam and obviously took your advice and have sorted out the left.
Frank is the Manager now and has said he will evaluate the squad then purchase where he sees fit.
His brief is to keep us clear of relegation.

I don't understand why people get so annoyed at Parish for lack of transfers or late transfers. It is not an easy thing and not every transfer attempt is reported. The board will be trying to negociate and will have been attempting to sign players, it's not as if Parish just sits on his arse having a w@nk all window and then on the final day of a window says, "oh we haven't signed anyone, better start looking"
