The simple fact is that the seriousness of offending people seems to be determined by who the offended is.

As I have said, I thought it was remarkable in its strangeness and impropriety from a woman in her position but it was just a word and the world has moved on, spinning quite happily as ever.

Right, so the implication is that you think I should be unusually preoccupied with what 4% of the population think about words that offend some of them and yet happily tolerate some of the very undesirable things that immigration has brought with it because the government and other self interested groups tell me it's all good?
