The truly great Arthur Daley and Arthur Lowe have been cited already,as well as that friend to us all,J Arthur, so I'll go for:

Arthur (Big Boy) Crudup...a Rhythm and Blues great...

He wrote "That's alright Mama","My Baby Left Me"...Elvis imitated a few years later and got the fame and the bucks (well, the Colonel in the latter case)...

... off of Call My Bluff, replaced P-P-P-Patrick C-C-C-Campbell, big mates with Larry Grayson, they used to meet up for tea and Gypsy Creams so Arthur admitted once whilst being interviewed.

My father-in-law was an Arthur. A complete b******

I knew him for 16 years and never had a conversation with him.

So who are all these other unbelievably horrible Arthurs that make your father-in-law (the complete b******) your favourite Arthur, and why is Arthur Marshall one of them ffs?
