JT was Chelsea captain last season, don't think it guarantees you a start. That said I'm a big fan of Punch.

Punch is a great choice . For those who says he gives the ball away too much I say its because he is taking on responsibility of making a pass that counts and that's what captains do , take on responsibility . Boring sideways or backward passing has its value but at some point someone has to pass it forward
And we still need a striker |

Love punch, happy with him being captain but seriously doubt he'll start many games. Luka, Cabaye, Loftus-Cheek, Wilf and Andros Would be my starters. Punch will be great for club captain tho.

When Punch was give the arm band I was surprised but pleased. I think he's proved his captaincy and I wouldn't be surprised if he became Palace manager some time in the future. I know he has his knockers, but to be honest I think FdB's style will suit him and I can see an ever improving performance from him this season. Good decision.
