I really dont get the Mutch hatred on here... I agree he's not the standard of player we need to be aspiring to nowadays, but he's never let us down by having an absolute mare of a game unlike others in teh squad. In fact he's a tidy player who rarely gives the ball away. He's certainly a confidence player though and as such would be probably suited elsewhere...but not because he's s*** as some would have it...just that we as a club have outgrown him.

Not sure on the exact facts of his Palace career,but when I have seen him I cannot remember him doing anything.

Genuinely giving the all the senior players a chance, and I don't see what's wrong with that. Who knows - if he can actually make the likes of Sako and Lee into useful options then we'll save a bit of money on transfers.

He does the simple things well...it just seems to be the in thing to be seen to slate him...seemingly because others do. Compare him to the likes of Sako and Lee who continually turn possession over and he's worth far more to the team than either of them.
