I suspect he is more annoyed by the comments from the chairman at WHU about Hart coming in to be no 1. i.e. Adrian was not even considered to be good enough to compete for the position by the chairman. We might not need to guarantee he comes in as No. 1, but simply that he will have the chance to compete for the top spot. Edited by NickinOX (27 Jul 2017 3.45pm)

If Adrian wants to play for Spain he cannot be WH's number 2. ( [Link] ), I'd have thought. I hope we get him and I'd even offer more than they're asking.

He hasn't even played for Spain, making out he's an full international is far for the truth. If Adrian that good why did he only play 16 league games, answer because he made too many errors and was dropped.

Well fdb seems to have known most half decent European players and has chosen reasonably well in the past. He surely has to consider this guy very highly irrespective of last seasons form or lack of international caps. Nigel martyn didn't get many caps did he? One of the best. Lack of caps means fa to me.

He's decent, better than Hennessy anyway. 3m is a bargain too! If we can get him, chambers for 18m and van der Weil for 3-4m then hopelly have a few quid left for another striker. We have to be realistic.

I would love us to make a move for Victor Valdes and am surprised he hasn't been linked with anyone that I have seen. He looked good at Boro last season and apart from potentially high wages he would be free. I can't say that Adrian excites me but he would probably be a slight upgrade on WH
