I really hope we sign this player if the Stoke fans are anything to go by but if there is genuine interest it seems unlikely to me that we would sign Riedewald as well as they both seem to play in the same position.

I wouldn't rule it out. Delaney not good enough anymore. We need 2 left side cb and Rb. Also Riedewald can play cdm.

I hope we sign both much like when we signed both Schlupp and PVA for the left position. Worked a treat then, don't just strengthen the first team but squad as well. Then the whole team doesn't fall to s*** as soon as an injury kicks in. Plus Riedwald can play DM and act as cover for Luka. So would be a great squad signing... Then just need a keeper and striker and what a window!

This doesnt really provide new info (so why are you posting I hear you say!) but does probide an overview as to what an excellent 'catch' Martins Indi would be. Just about as good as Sakho at under half the price! Fingers crossed!

Sorry but reading the strengths and weaknesses of Mr Indi , I am touch concerned that one of his weaknesses appears to be aerial duals. A bit like saying that a keeper is a brilliant shot stopper but doesn't favour catching high balls! Perhaps it's just me over thinking.
