It may just be me but a lot of transfer talk around defenders but do you not think we need a striker to back up Christian?

Agreed about building from the back but one fit striker is not a good situation to be in. Benteke gets injured we have no cover!!! RVP???

It's all very well saying build from the back. But if Benteke god forbid did his MCL or ACL we would be absolutely Christian Fuched. We need someone capable to play second striker who can stay fit. And Wickham can play the third choice or battle for second if he stays fit and then we can have a kid as our backup backup. If we have a defensive injury, bar RB we should be okay for cover, if we have problems up top, then we will struggle to score against anyone.

Yup I'd agree most of not all are anxious for us to recruit a second strike option during the window. It seems our attention is currently on the back line. I believe we've been loosely linked with half of the Netherlands so as always it's virtually impossible to actually know what / who our plans are. Two forwards that have loosely been linked are RVP and a lad called Munir el Haddadi. The former needs no introduction and maybe available on a small fee £3-5m. The later, Munri El Haddadi is a young Spanish striker who plays for Barca he's very raw but has potential. Might be available for £15m. Now who knows if we're actually interested in either, normally the case is we find out a day or two before they sign. So I guess fingers crossed.
