So you think we have enough cover up top then? We have brought in a defender which is great news but we are not linked to any strikers at the minute and this is a concern obviously because we have 1 fit striker in the team. Or maybe you think Ladapo and Anderson will cut the mustard in the PL?

No it doesn't. We could do with a quality replacement for Sakho plus a replacement goalkeeper for the departed Mandanda which I don't think is major surgery.

Believe it was media speculation/BS that thinks he'll sign another 2/3 defenders. Just think, we were reportedly in for dutch defenders left,right and centre.. yet our first signing was Loftus Cheek on loan, things are being kept tightly under wraps.

De Boer will have assessed the squad by now and will be just as aware as we are that we are a bit light up front. There's no way we are going to go into the season with just Benteke and an injury-prone Wickham so I'm sure he has given it some thought. Have faith.

Hey guys calm down, I'd have thought our first port of call would be sorting the defence as without Sakho I'd imagine FdB see it needs an overhaul that means new first team players must be the priority if he's looking at this as our biggest weakness. I'd be highly surprised if once that's done we won't be looking for a striker or two. But let's be fair he needs to prioritise funds for the first team back line first. No point buying a second choose striker and not having enough left for a CB. As always Parish is working privately so just becuase we haven't announced anything doesn't mean we're not working on it..
