America is already split along racial lines though. Geographically, that is a situation produced in the segregation era, and one which, if you go to many big cities, has remained fairly unchanged.

I was just in NY and stayed on the outskirts of Brooklyn, and was pretty much the only white person in the neighbourhood. You jump on a train half an hour and are in Manhatten, and the only black faces you see are working.

It is from that perspective that we, in Britain, a county with problems but not on that scale, have to appreciate. Why are groups of people seeking identities which empower them in a way that the dominant identity - nationalism - does not?

Self interest as always. Black people have not done well in the game of empires. In the modern world, they have been the losers. It is hardly surprising then that as a minority in any country, they group together to fight their corner and press for a better existence.

Sadly, what many on the Left don't see is that the class that rules us all is using identity politics to undermine us all. Mass immigration and the undermining of nationalism is part of that process. Divide and conquer and all that.

I can see this happening though.

Many in the progressive left are openly racist to whites, especially white men in America.

It's funny really.....the Democrats are the party that rails against racism the most yet it is the most openly racist party.

The party that literally promotes identitarian views amongst minorities yet screams racism when a fraction of the majority do it.

On Hol, we have seen some progressives openly using the 'gammon' statement and then hilariously claiming it isn't racist.
