I will add one thing to your undisguised bias towards Trump. He has ordered a full inquiry into the death of this poor man & he is always going to be in a damned If he say's something & damned if he doesn't.
Not a peep one single whisper from Sleepy Joe he's either snoozing in a corner somewhere with drool running down his chin or reckoned that the deceased isn't 'Black' enough after his preposterous statement a day or two back.

Ordering an "inquiry" into the death could hardly have been avoided by any POTUS.

Following it up with the incendiary language in the tweet was truly shocking. It would have got most people banned from Twitter and coming from any leader, let alone the President, deserves the strongest condemnation. There is simply no excuse for it.

I reject ALL suggestions of bias against Trump. It's impossible to be biased against someone with absolutely no trace of merit in him. He is a fail from head to toe so nothing that can be said is bias. It's all fair criticism.

looting seems to be an excuse that comes with a good riot. Duggan comes to mind over here. Protest yes if you want but not an excuse to riot, steal and rob. Unless you agree with it obviously.

Yes, I know, imagine apologising for mob rule where plenty more people are likely to get killed. Probably more black people. Take a knee, black lives matter.

As MLK said - 'A riot is the language of the unheard'. I understand the visceral anger of many in the US, it ultimately took 4 nights of unrest to get the department to bring charges against this officer. That is a seriously broken system.

Sadly, rioting is ultimately counterproductive in the long term. This from Killer Mike captures what needs to be done -

There is always state sponsored violence against law breakers, that is essentially how our punitive justice system works. Otherwise there is anarchy, which is being promoted by some during these riots. The US President represents the Law of the USA, and is making what you call a threat to stop further criminality.
The killing of Floyd is a disgrace but that does not justify burning everything down, and certainly does not in anyway call for looting. Mass marches and rallies, ala Gandhi or Luther King would have a far more positive outcome.

............ & Sleepy Joe?

Sleepy Joe was interviewed on MSNBC (and clips rebroadcast on major networks, too) yesterday. No script, spoke to the conversation he had with Floyd's family and did so eloquently and with the compassion and tone you'd expect of a leader.

Contrast this with Commander Douchebag at the Rose Garden address yesterday. Not a single mention of the incident (nor his incendiary tweet response to the overnight rioting in Minneapolis) and promptly left the podium to dodge press questions. No surprise. Then, at his next appointment (a round table with "Reopening Industry Executives) he made mention of his call with the family. Not surprisingly, his comments were scripted... dreary, monotone delivery we've come to expect... eyes constantly dropping to notes on the table. He is an embarrassment - to all, other than the thugs/nitwits who continue to buy his drivel.

Doesn’t suit his agenda, his whole life seems to revolve around Trump and patronising posters on here who dare to have a different view of life than he does. Some of his recent posts on here must have been bordering on a yellow card. He is getting very tetchy

Biden is probably biding his time and letting the law officers do their jobs without them having to watch over their shoulders for another politician. The media will do all the scrutiny that's needed.
