Yup. I blame nobody. But this needs to be a learning for us. I have no doubt we have had similar learnings before which is why I mentioned Cucking. Important to keep history so we don't keep making similar mistakes.

That's why I won't buy a season ticket.

At least Hennessy isn't the most disliked 6 ft 5 Welshman on here. Well for the next 10 days anyway

I'm just watching it now, as it was on after the athletics. I'd only read the threads previously. It does makes some here look like idiots it has to be said but no more than any other club. On top of that one or two thoughtful and fair minded comments were highlighted and as mentioned previously someone may have been misrepresented too.

Still hopefully people will learn from the highlighting of some of our more juvenile and backward qualities. 'Think before you speak' comes to mind.

Don't be a biggot, don't insult or pick on people because they are minorities and be open -minded. It's quite a simple set of rules not to be a duckwit.

If someone isn't breaking the law don't tell them how to behave or think.

It doesn't matter if someone is in a minority or in a majority. Nobody is above criticism or below praise.

As long as there are voices speaking up against the more mindless comments, that's a good start I think. Once upon a time anything half supportive of gay sportsmen would be met with derision and before that you can apply it to race.

Things are improving, huge strides have been made with race on account that it's a visual difference so something that people are essentially forced to get over rather than try to shout and jeer into perpetual hiding.

Just watched the Gareth Thomas documentary.very good programme.knowing some gay people as I do I feel all thee abuse has to stop.

Martin Luther King once said judge me not by the colour of my skin but by the content of my character.

Same thing should apply to gay people judge them not by their sexuality but by the content of their character

Social media is a strange thing. People say things that I doubt they would say in person. I don't think Palace has a larger anti-gay fanbase than any other club. It's a shame we're (and Hol) being portrayed in this way to the wider world. Freedom of speech is very important but that does not equate to there being no impact- on other people's feelings or your reputation.
