No, I meant, I was gutted that Gatlin got gold ahead of Bolt but then someone said Blake had also beaten Bolt but my original point was referring to the fact that I was gutted that in THIS world championships, Gatlin had beaten him.

I had assumed that was it from Bolt. But, I'm going on Saturday night and it seems he may be in the 4x100 final,so I may get to see the great athlete run!

Fantastic race and win for Mo Farah

I couldn't help thinking watching last night that the 100 metres racing is completely boring. All the fanfare for Usain Bolt for a sport which is over in 10 seconds and totally predictable. The 10,000 metres was thrilling to watch, it was tactical and seeing the race unwind wondering whether Farah had more to give, and the power finish. Absolute theatre. 100 Metres? Yawn !

He's a fantastic ambassador for the sport. I have more faith in abilities of those in the distance events tb be honest. There's a touch of the Lance Armstrongs to the sprinting events.

Case in point this is a list of the best ever 100m times with those caught doping at some point in their career crossed out.

Good point! Plus there was a study stating that drugs cheats gain a certain level of permanent benefit even after they stop. It should be bans for life. Anything else makes the event a farce.
