I have heard that their new £11.5 Mill striker Mounie is very strong in the air and really does thrive on crosses so if he plays our defenders will really be tested when the ball is delivered from wide areas.

Given our reputation for first games of the season, I'm thinking a point would be an improvement. Still, I'll be in the Red and Blue bar win, lose or draw, celebrating the start of the new season and meeting up with those I've not seen in a few months.

I'm more excited that its a 3pm kick off, on a Saturday, for the first day of the season - Get in.

The point I was trying to make about Huddersfield signing 7 new players is that this is not 'Little Huddersfield' who just made it through the play-offs.They have taken steps to significantly add to their squad.

Significantly add, is rather different to significantly strengthen.

Even if they were significantly weakened I would still consider the game a significant Banana skin.

On this occasion I am unable to meet 'Taylor Doon' due to a prior engagement.

With my Australian connections we could have had quite a natter not only about 'Oz' but of course the game.

Hopefully I can meet him and other members of HOL on another occasion - would have to make arrangements not to use my car to travel to the ground so that I could enjoy a tipple or two !

So you will have drink to celebrate victory?
Whoose victory?
Just remind yoy we have only beat Huddersfield 1 in 12 attemt!!!

We have 1 Victory 7 draws and 4 losses angainst them, so better not plan for a victory drink in be fore hand.
With a shakey defence and a new system we will be tested even if it "just Huddersfield"
Better prepare for all options in this match.
But anyhow good luck to all palace fans and hope victory it will be.For Palace of course!
