I thought 'April Fool' at first, despite it being August and was prepared to dismiss it out of hand. Then I started to remember the other times I've read headlines that couldn't possibly be true (Steve Bruce/Dougie/Pulis/Big Sam quitting, Palace due to fold by 4pm in May 2010, Clattenburg given the job of officiating at the Cup Final) and I began to worry.
