The season starts today, it's not as if it was thrown on us out of nowhere.

Andy Johnson Magic, He wears a Magic Hat
When he Sees the match ball, he says he having that
He scores one with left foot, he scores one with his right
And When his playing Brighton, He scores all f***ING Night!

Referring to the original subject, I don't think any manager would be confident enough to say they are fully prepared for the season ahead. This is mainly due to the transfer window closing weeks after the season starts, there are going to be many more transfers to come before the end of August.
I don't think Palace have ever been fully prepared in all the years I have supported them.
Looking forward to the ups and downs the season will bring, just hope we prosper and survive easily.

Maybe this should be look apon and shut before season starts?

If your looking to support a money no object, buy everyone you feel like club, your in the wrong place.
Your constant criticism of Parish is boring, he is not perfect ( very few, if anyone is )but he has done alright so far.

He's done more than just alright. He's done bloody amazingly.

Agreed. HOL went soft as s***e years ago. Should be able to call a c*** a c*** without getting carded.

I disagree. I think it's a bit sad that people can't express their views without needing to use swear words.

What really gets me isn't those who are apprehensive, clearly we embarking on an unkown and that gets people nervous. Some points will help reassure. Frank has said it him self.

But what really gets me are the posters who literally can not find one positive thing to say about Palace under Frank.

Every single post bar none is negative, cutting the club down and predicting doom.

No positivity about the three fantastic players we've signed
No positivity about our youth that might start to shine

Just negativity after negativity...

Yes the system might not work. And yes we haven't blown our load on players. But there's more to this than that, and if you can't see any positivity in any of this...

I actually believe you can't have that much negativity and actually want us to win, and that that is the sad truth,

I don't mind negativity as long as it's constructive and in fact I prefer carefully thought out and accurate negative posts to the constant wittering from a few members who constantly chirp away but without actually saying anything of substance

Problem is we've only signed one player. The other two, we are training up for their host clubs. Yes we get a year but this is not progression. I think we are underprepared if we start with a new system as we do not have the right players in place yet.

‪Frank De Boer became one of Europe's most sought after coaches after success with Ajax. But what can Palace fans expect?

Interesting that Scott dann said we unready but hopes for a positive result ?

We have been in a nervous relegation battle in recent seasons.
We have only spent some £8 Mill in the transfer market and signed 2 players on 'Loan' who have only been fringe players at their clubs.
Add into the mix a new system of play and perhaps one can understand why some supporters feel a sense of unease and as such post a degree of negativity on HOL.

Anyhow off now to the game !!!!
