I would avoid this player.

We will also have other areas where we need to strength next summer including Rcb and cm spots.

Yes, but if we bring in a couple more players on permanent deals, then next summer we have less holes to fill overall.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

When a new manager comes in he is looking to start a series of seasons where we build a team in his image, and a system and style of play. Loanees can certainly help instill a system but when some call it a win win, you could say it’s a lose lose. If they turn out to be Bamford it’s a total waste of time. If they turn out to be Sakho you get some short term gains then you are dealt a big blow when they abruptly disappear and you cannot fill that immense void – think about Sakho last year, sure it was down to an injury, but if a loan player turns out be a massive success then when they inevitably disappear you are weakened, not strengthened. I am past the point of wanting to lurch from one relegation scrap to the next hell bent on survival at all costs, its time for our team to grow and FDB to build something here. And we cannot say “thank god we only loaned Sanogo” as we never would have signed half of those guys permanently. I agree with loans if we actually have a chance at buying the player but I don’t think that’s the case with RLC or TFM. Would you have prefered us not to have loaned Sakho in and gone down?

Gives FDB and the board a further 12 months to identify, agree a fee, agree terms and more importantly wait for the medical results for the players they want to bring in.
I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like. |

The market ha to stabilise, it's absolutely out of control right now and it's not sustainable, if we rely on 2-4 loans domestic and foreign for the next couple of years then that's fine by me. Also there will be success stories like Sakho who we could have bought if we had the cash. A player if that quality bought in to the ethos of the club and actually wanted to stay here, if we'd offered 30 mil instead of the loan offer in January the chances are he would have thought he could do a lot better.
