The thing that I don't understand about posts like this is that it's almost as if you'd rather we did badly just so you could gloat over fellow fans rather than the team doing well. He's had one bloody game, last season people wanted Allardyce out after only a few games and the same with Conte at Chelsea, both managers obviously going on to make a mockery of those fans. Give him a chance and support the team.

Give him a chance and support the team. I agree on the one game point. I think some are concerned with issues staring us in the face with illogical choices being made. It's not as if it's even a surprise. We're playing a new way and formation without the players to play it. We never did and we still don't. We've got 3 and need another 3, and that's just to give us a possibility of 3-4-3. We never had the player were told we did. That I'm afraid is the biggest amount of bullsh1t I've heard since Pardew. I didn't boo yesterday and it was embarrassing. But if we're going into a period stubbornness then after 6 games he and we could be in a bad situation. Chelsea, ManC and Manu in a row. People are concerned where there is going, not where it is. I pray it's going to be alright but my I doubt it will be with 3-4-3 all the time. Maybe catch a team out with it mind you.

I seem to remember SP saying after his appointment that he very clearly set out his footballing philosophy during his interview and was knowledgeable about our squad. So the fact that 7 weeks later we haven't acquired the players to play the way he wants to strikes me as being more the fault of recruitment than De Boer's management.

Adding 6 new players into the squad and 1st XI to play how you want to is asking a hell of a lot, even with lots of money or playing the same way. With a new way and £40 mil net absolute max, more like £30 mil, it's even harder. That would've been discussed in interview. This is the prem, not Holland or Portugal. I thought months back that Parish ignored Silva when he shouldn't have and wanted Pellegrino but he and Frank ended up with each other and tried to mesh their visions together. I hope he isn't rolling the dice with us and takes our prem status very very seriously.

Also I have to admit it I did boo at the end of the match and most of the people around me were also. We were not booing our players in fact we clapped them of down the tunnel . We were booing Huddersfield winning. There is a difference. I fink !
