What I find hard to understand that our first game is against a team we should be obliterating with all our talent and they come along with a TEAM made up of small time transfers plus an 11 million pound striker (Mounie) and play a simple system and totally demolish us. We have started the season with one half decent striker in the squad, it's not on! Why couldn't we have got this bloke? I have said many times, we need a proven goal scorer now. Teams are going to physically tie down Zaha (like yesterday, no protection from Mr. Moss). Play to our strengths like Huddersfield did, hustle teams, don't give them time on the ball. Unless we change our mind set we will stay in the bottom three and we don't have a manager that likes a dog fight at the end of the season. Please, a new goalkeeper which Palace have always been renowned for (Rouse, Glazier, Jackson, Burridge etc etc) and a 20 goal a season striker not just someone who can head a ball but someone who can feed off the flick on chances that Benteke provides. WE CANNOT SCORE GOALS WITH THIS FORMATION AND SYSTEM. Please don't wait till Xmas to put this right. Well done Huddersfield you may just have done us a favour!
